Abstract
The Members of this congregation are immigrants from Kerala, the southernmost part of India. Almost all of them trace their ancestry to the so-called Syrian Christian community of Kerala, India. The major reasons for migration are the lack of opportunities in India as a whole, and Kerala in particular, due to several contributing factors, the most important among them being the lack of industrial development and the very high level of population.
